365 in 2015 - End of Week 39

This was our first full week back from vacation. It took us a little while to get back into the swing of things, but it was good to be home! 

I missed Sunday, so this was right before we headed out to Trail Life on Monday evening.

Helping out at the Gwinnett Right to Life booth at the Gwinnett County fair. We've never helped with a booth before, and enjoyed our time there!

I took the kids to the fair on Friday evening while Jon was away on his fishing trip. There was a misty rain the whole time we were there, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Can you tell Shelby was super excited?

This sign made me laugh out loud! It was on the door to Jet's Pizza.

Clayton cleaning out our Kirby with mom's Kirby. Our Kirby's hose broke and so the cloth bag filled with dirt and dust instead of the paper bag inside it. It was a great big mess, and I still haven't managed to get it fixed. Thankfully, we could borrow mom's vacuum and take care of the mess!

365 in 2015 - End of Week 38

After our week in Destin, we headed to Navarre for another week on the gulf. Bethany and her family and our mom and dad came down as well. We had a great time! 

 

Our first morning in Navarre. It was our first time staying there, and we had beautiful views of both the gulf and the bay (this is the bay view).

We all walked to the pier and I tried to get some pictures of the kids. It's a hard task when they desperately wanted to get in and play in the water!

On Tuesday we all went to the Blue Angels practice in Pensacola (which is their home base). It was one of the most enjoyable things we've done!

The best of my shells found on the beach. I thoroughly enjoy searching for them any time we go to the beach, and Navarre definitely had the best ones I've ever found! 

365 in 2015 - End of Week 37

I'm a couple weeks behind posting pictures because we went of vacation. We went to the beach for two weeks and had a great and restful time! This week's pictures are from Destin.

On Monday we decided to rent a couple chairs from the beach service. We spent all day down at the beach (minus a short break to eat lunch).

I only took a picture of the girls napping on Friday, so I decided to pull an extra from Saturday. This is from our trip to the National Naval Aviation Museum. Am I the only one that saw a fish?

365 in 2015 - End of Week 36

I finally seemed to get a slight bit more motivation to take pictures. Not sure what changed, but I noticed myself picking up my camera more than I had the past few weeks. 

Clayton rearranged the letters to spell our last name! I didn't know that was possible with the letters on those blocks.

Clayton made a fair ride with his Legos. The black box just spins and spins...fast! I'm not sure why the word puke-a-holic came out of my mouth, but Clayton ran with it and made a sign for his ride.

The next day Clayton made a ferris wheel with his Lego technic pieces and gears. It really goes around! 

Today is Cheyenne's birthday! We celebrated by letting her open her present a day or two early. Can you tell she was incredibly excited?
