We were given a gift card to Kids Up (formerly Catch Air) in Suwanee last Christmas (think 2013!). The kids had been asking when we could go again, and I told that we would go after public schools were back in session from the Christmas break. They woke up January 6th and said, "Didn't schools start back today?" Yes, they keep up and pay attention to the calendar! I told them to finish up some of their work, and then we would go. Cheyenne finished in no time, Clayton on the other hand....
...had to finish his work before being able to play! It didn't take him long to finish after we got there!

On the dance floor for a "dance party". They turn down the lights, light up this floor, and play some music. The kids loved it and started asking them to do another one again and again.

I tried and tried to get a picture of the bubbles that they also turned on during the dance party. I finally managed to get this one!
It wouldn't be a full and active day without someone in tears! Paige thankfully didn't break her arm this time (she did that the last time we went!), she was just upset because the other kids kept running away from her.

DeleteLove this!!! That place is super fun! Was Clayton and to concentrate there? I've thought about taking my kids & working with Andrew, but I'm concerned he wouldn't do well if he had to work. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, Clayton was able to concentrate and finish his work. I think it was actually great motivation! He knew he couldn't play until he finished, so he wanted to get done as quickly as possible.
