This is officially week 52! But my first week was only two days, so I have five days left of my challenge. I got a new camera lens for Christmas and have enjoyed playing with that as well. I'm hoping to end better than I've done the last few weeks!

Cheyenne's new dress (and matching one for her doll!) that she got from Grandma for Christmas. She was so excited to get up and get dressed for church!

On Monday, my two big girls each lost a tooth! Paige lost her first tooth, and Cheyenne lost her third! (Yes, my kids are on the later side for losing teeth!)

Tuesday morning was insanely foggy when I woke up. I quickly got the kids up and out so we could take some pictures. This was one of my favorites!

One of many pictures we took at Freeman's Mill Park.

Paige playing on the porch with my umbrella one rainy evening.

Jon's new apron. He'd mentioned wanting one with Kiss the Cook on it, and I thought this one was funny!

In June we went with Bethany, her kids, and Mom to Tribble Mill Park. While the park itself is decent enough, we went off the beaten path to a natural falls for the kids to play in the water. It comes out of the lake through a dam and flows over rocks where it pools up as well. The kids and I had a great time sliding down the rocks and into the pools!

The kids could hardly wait to get there and took off for the water as soon as we rounded the curve where they could see this!

Mom even got in the water for a picture!

Avalyn and Paige at the top of the hill.

Avalyn and Paige going down one of the best rapids!

Shelby pouting while sitting in the water. Not sure why she wasn't enjoying herself.

I took so many pictures while camping that I decided to split it into two posts.

My sweet girls ready to go exploring.

Paige

Shelby

All the kiddos humoring me trying to take their picture.

A pretty spot on the far side of our campground. I love the reflection!

Saturday morning we took a hike to Nancytown Falls. The sunlight was just lovely coming through the trees!

Clayton ready to go hiking!

The sun through the leaves.

Nancytown Falls up ahead!

The falls.

Cheyenne playing with the lantern.

The kiddos (plus an extra or two) playing with glow sticks. I had fun playing with different settings on my camera trying to get the glowing movement!

In May we went camping with Clayton's Trail Life troop to Nancytown Group Campground. The weather was wonderful and we had a great weekend!

Within a few minutes of setting up camp, the girls made their way to the water. It was *freezing* but they insisted on playing in it for a little while (until they started to turn purple and I made them get out)!

Paige lounging out of the water.

Shelby on the swing someone set up.

My girls being silly!

Shelby rode her bike over and over and over again. She learned how to start pedaling on her own!

Cheyenne and Paige walking around the campsite.

Cheyenne helping Shelby out of the water.

Jon took Clayton fishing in the lake. They didn't catch anything, but Clayton enjoyed it anyway!

Cheyenne trying the slack line. She made it the whole way across and back without falling off!

Paige made it all the way across and back as well!

Clayton had more trouble and fell off about halfway through.

Shelby made it the whole way across several times and enjoyed playing on it after the other kids had moved on to another activity!

Shelby laid herself down for a nap Saturday afternoon.

Paige walking Mr. Peabody. (For anyone that knows Paige, she is scared of dogs, so this is a really big deal that she warmed up to him enough to ask to walk the dog!)

Shelby found a friend to play ball with her (Mr. Stuckey)!

Paige fell asleep during dinner Saturday evening!

Who I Am

My photo
We're the Presley family. Jon and I met and got married in 2004. The circumstances behind all that were not the best, but God has truly turned our many mistakes into good! Only by His grace and mercy are we where we are today. We have four wonderfully crazy kids that are between four and eight years old. Jon is an HVAC technician and I stay at home to attempt to teach and train our kids in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. It's a challenging job, and one I fail at constantly. But God does and will continue to sustain and uphold me and give me grace to do this amazing task he's called me to do. ~For nothing is impossible with God! Luke 1:37
