I made it to the end of week five! Today has been the hardest day to worry about pictures and getting them all edited and ready to post. It's been a busy day! The next few weeks look to be insanely crazy, so hopefully I can keep up with this and learn some new things as well (since that hasn't happened much at all yet). Anyway, here's what I got this week!
Sunday afternoons sometimes turn into game time for the kids. They occasionally nap during church (which we try to prevent, but doesn't always work), and so they'll spend the afternoon quietly playing. Paige and Shelby were playing a game of Sequence for Kids!
Monday night is our activity night out. Clayton is in Trail Life USA and Cheyenne is in American Heritage Girls. She's done really well earning service stars (for hours spent serving/helping others)!
Tuesday evening ended up with all the girls in Jon's lap at once. I had to get a picture and of course, after a normal one, the girls asked for a goofy picture. Jon even joined in on the fun!
Wednesday was our first dentist appointment in a long time. Cheyenne was so excited and didn't mind one bit going (better her than me)!
I went out Thursday without my camera and ended up not taking any pictures - until this one at bed time. This is the current book I'm reading. It's an excellent book!!
After Classical Conversations on Friday we headed to Auburn Park for a few minutes. The kids love the old merry-go-round they have there!
I made Clayton an account on Khan Academy. It's a completely free, online learning website. He spent a good bit of the evening Friday (voluntarily) working on math. Then spent most of the day Saturday learning about programming. I stood by watching for a while and was fascinated with it myself! He's enjoyed it immensely and I can tell he's already learned quite a good bit. We are really impressed with their set up!
Great job!!! A tip about learning: make a list of things you want to learn & try to focus on one per week or month. Read books or blogs to get info. Maybe take a class if you have the funds. This is a great list (& an amazing website to learn from!): http://clickitupanotch.com/2014/02/guide-for-your-photography-journey/
