On Monday February 16, it rained and rained and rained some more. We had initially thought all that rain might have been snow, but the temperatures remained just high enough to keep it all rain. But that night the temperatures DID drop and everything turned to ice. Since we are surrounded by pine trees, we woke up to many downed limbs. Thankfully there wasn't any significant damage to our property, but the neighbors on either side had their sheds destroyed by falling branches/trees.
Part of the left side of the house: just a couple decent sized branches.
Branches scattered across the back yard.
Another pile in the back yard. This branch was stuck in the ground so hard - it was about six or eight inches buried!!
Part of the front yard and driveway. This ended up being a much more than I initially thought!
The pile from the front yard and driveway now piled at the street. It is spilling out onto the street on the far side. Clayton had fun helping clean it all up!
