This month I decided to not try another challenge, but just go with whatever I took. I'm not sure that was the best idea as I managed to skip two days this week! I was also highly discouraged by my attempts at pictures from Monday at the park. They didn't turn out like I thought and I'm not sure what happened or what I did wrong (which I wish I knew, so I could try not to do it again!). With Jon gone all week and a purposefully busier schedule (to help pass the time in his absence), I just didn't get into it as much. Anyway, here's what I took this week!
Sunday was one of the days I missed, so this is actually one of the pictures Jon took from the airplane on Sunday on his way to Honduras!
At Duncan Creek Park on Monday evening before going to Trail Life/American Heritage Girls. These roller slides are the best!!
Shelby's imitation of Mr. Sam!
On Wednesday Parks Tree Service was here cutting down five dead or dying trees from our yard. The kids and I had fun watching them work!
My goofball Paige! I seriously need to get a video of her talking with her hands. It's the funniest thing!
I missed Friday as well, so this is from Saturday morning. My sweet younger two reading a book together!
Saturday afternoon we had a wedding at our church. The reception was at the Howland's farm and my kids of course had to get on the floating dock and play in the water! (Thankfully without getting wet or muddy!)
I was so impressed you let your girls go out on that dock by themselves at the wedding. My mama's heart would have been too scared! ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you want, maybe email a few of your park pics & settings & we can talk throug how to improve them. I often do this on a photography forum & it's so helpful to get others feedback & to give it! You learns so much!
I saw your comment here when you posted it, but I just haven't gotten around to replying (I've only thrown my 365 posts together quickly Saturday evenings, and otherwise not had time to do things with other pictures). Anyway, I appreciate the offer! I still haven't gone back and looked through them again, but I do know I used my bigger zoom lens more that evening, so maybe there's a reason there. I'm not sure why it would change much, but something happened there.
