Tonight we went to our first live Slugs & Bugs concert! I've been waiting and waiting for them to come to Atlanta since I backed their first Sing the Bible CD on Kickstarter. They have since funded Sing the Bible Vol. 2 as well, and I started paying closer attention to their tour schedule. I didn't want to miss out on them being close by. So of course, we were all thrilled when we found out that they would be here in Atlanta this month! I'm not sure who was the most excited, but I have a nagging feeling I beat out the kids on that one! We had a lovely time at the concert. It was very interactive, with most of the adults and kids singing along and doing motions to the songs. We had a great time! I was very glad to get to meet Randall Goodgame. He was very down to earth and kind. Here's to hoping we get to see them again - since they will soon be incorporating more of the Sing the Bible songs into their show!
Slugs & Bugs LIVE! So much anticipation while waiting!
My kiddos passed the time more calmly than I did.
Randall Goodgame singing Shepherd Dad.
A song with the mandolin (I can't remember which one).
"Stop, Christ is speaking. Stop, children listen."
My kiddos with Randall after the concert.
