Our first annual Walk Worthy Day at the capitol was a huge success! The event was organized by our very own American Heritage Girls Vice Coordinator Beth Nafziger, our Trail Life/AHG charter rep Marvin Burr, and Representative John Carson. I went as an AHG leader with all my kiddos in tow. I took a bunch of pictures, but am limiting this post to ones of mostly my kids (with exception for the big group picture and people I've asked permission from before).
We *barely* made it to the bus stop to catch a Gwinnett Transit bus downtown. We did make it though and enjoyed not having to deal with traffic!

I absolutely love the details of the capitol building! There are so many interesting architectural designs, I ended up taking quite a few pictures of just them.
The entire group that showed up! People from many different troops across Georgia. My kids and I are all hiding in this picture somewhere!
One of the doorknobs.
Shelby freaking me out with about the height and her ability to get through the columns. She thought it was quite amusing!
The wood around the door frames.
Outside eating lunch, I noticed the reflection of the capitol on the glass building and thought it looked cool.
Our troops!
A lovely flower!
Over the windows on the outside of the capitol.
A fun part of the day was watching this police dog in action. Nobody bothered to let me know that they had hidden something for him to find right behind where I chose to sit! Thankfully I wasn't too much in his way though...
Shelby enjoying her conversation with Sarah.
Even the vents were pretty!
A picture with the AHG lady. My girls of course had to be silly!
With the Klinect girls, again my girls had to be the goofy ones!

...until she and Paige both crashed.
What great pictures! I love the architectual pictures, but the ones of the kids are cute, too. I think the wood door frame or the door knob are my favorites.
