On May 4th Cheyenne participated in her first Messy Game Night with her American Heritage Girl's troop. She was a little wary of getting as dirty as many of the other girls, but by the end of the night she was pretty messy herself! Although, compared to the others, she was rather clean. (I haven't included pictures of any of the other girls because I don't want to post them on here without their parent's knowledge.) Shelby and Paige also participated, but also didn't want to get very dirty.
Shelby playing the cornstarch/marble game. You stand in the pool of cornstarch/water and try to find as many marbles with your toes as you can in a set amount of time. This is the only game Shelby was willing to play and she kept coming back again and again to try!
Paige didn't want to get dirty, but finally was willing to play this version of music chairs. Instead of chairs, there were plates filled with shaving cream. When the music stopped you were supposed to sit on one of the plates! It got quite wild and messy!
This was another game Cheyenne enjoyed, and was one of the messiest ones! They set up a Twister board but instead of using the game's mat, they used plates with ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickle relish. It was so gross, but the girls loved it!
Cheyenne stayed pretty clean playing Twister!
Cheyenne at the end of the night! And she was one of the cleaner girls!
I couldn't have done it! I hated finger paints and play dough. I know they had fun! Forgive me for being a party pooper.
